POACHED CHICKEN (OR PORK CHOPS)

Note: This recipe is one that I have used for at least 5 years, and always have good results. If you are a purist in your food tastes, this isn't for you.
INGREDIENTS
  • chicken breast halves - one per person.
  • water
  • chicken bullion cubes or ground loose bullion - one cube per chicken breast
  • one teaspoon cooking oil
  • one teaspoon Kitchen Bouquet or Gravy Master
  • optional - spice of your choice (garlic, Mrs. Dash, cajun etc.)
DIRECTIONS
Put the cooking oil and KB in a fry pan or grill pan with water, and add the bullion. Bring to boil, dissolving the bullion. Add the chicken, and turn down the heat to at least medium. Poach the chicken, turning once, adding spice of choice. (15-25min)
